Originally designed for the tennis court, the model rose to fame with legendary player John McEnroe, who wore it to win Wimbledon in 1981. Nike SB has reworked this classic for the demands of modern skateboarding.

The upper combines suede with synthetic details, while the thick, padded textile tongue features elastic gussets to keep it securely in place. A slightly slimmed-down, stitched cupsole improves boardfeel, and the herringbone tread provides excellent traction. Inside, a Zoom Air unit beneath the heel cushions hard landings.

The Nike SB Tennis Classic keeps things clean and minimal, with a stitched contrasting Swoosh on the sides, embossed Nike lettering at the heel, and Nike SB branding on the tongue label and insole.
